Capstone Project
Our Capstone project is a year long goal to create an invention or addition to an already created invention from an idea or problem that we chose and Built off of. Below the Button will take you to the research of the project. Mentors have been very hard to come by and we have reached out to a few and two have been on our emails one that works for Microsoft that would help us with in app creation and coding and the other is the Safety Officer for Santa Monica who would help us with the design and approach to a more easy to use product.
Now we have finished our design and concepts, starting with our case design. The first two prototypes are being bought super soon, which will help us with our testing. We have now finally decided to be making an extension for google maps and other mapping services. Other than that, we have kept in contact with our Mentor, and we also have been able to get everything checked and updated. These two Cad models represent my capstone project's physical product that is a case designed to help drivers maintain their focus on the road, accompanying the app on the phone.
On the right is a link to our cost analysis, which basically shows the price to configure the case for production.
